Stefan Hülsen joins Statkraft Ventures
Stefan Hülsen has joined the corporate venture capital firm Statkraft Ventures as Senior Investment Manager recently. The company invests in energy start-ups within the energy sector.
Stefan Hülsen complements the Düsseldorf-based team of Statkraft Ventures with entrepreneurial know-how and expertise in digital technologies. He holds a master degree in finance and brings to the table more than 12 years of experience as an investor, manager and entrepreneur in the technology and internet sector.

From entrepreneur to investor
Previously Stefan Hülsen was with the NRW.BANK’s venture capital arm, pursuing investments in technology start-ups. Beforehand, he supported international subsidiaries within the Haniel Group as Business Analyst. He started his career as founder and CEO of GameCosmos, a news publisher in the gaming sector, in early 2000. After its sale to Gamigo, he stayed with the company as director of marketing & sales until its sale to Axel Springer.
